PPANE Regional Competition

Posted in Uncategorized at 9:53 am by admin

I just got back from the Professional Photographers Association of New England Convention. What a learning experience! I attended several seminars as well as participated in the print competition. I received lots of information and lots of inspiration from the programs. Also, my print case went 4 for 4. What that means is that all 4 images entered received a score of 80 or higher. 80 is the magic number for receiving a blue ribbon. Along with a blue ribbon is a seal on the back. The seal means that the image is automatically accepted at the PPA international print competition in 2008!!! How cool is that? I’ll have another 4/4 print case at PPA National next year! The image that scored the highest - 86, also received a Judges Choice ribbon. Only 7 such ribbons are handed out at a competition. There were 97 cases submitted and over 300 images in the competition. Your’s truely was one of only 3 photographers in the entire competition to achieve 4/4!

The Judges Choice ribbon went to the print titled “Quiet Confidence” shown here.

Amazing Weather!

Posted in Uncategorized at 11:42 pm by admin

I’ve been wanting to get these images posted for a week! Last Sunday we had some amazing weather conditions in our area. About 1/2 inch of rain in 20 minutes, high winds, lightening, thunder, and hail. I’ve attached a couple images I took right after the hale happened. It took down a lot of leaves, ruined peoples gardens and created fog. I had gotten one of the new Adam’s dollar coins from the bank and used it for a scale reference. It’s a bit bigger than a quarter. Sandy measured one near our house to be 1.5 inches across. Sure glad that one didn’t hit me on top of the head!

Roland and Jeannette will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary July 3rd - How cool is that?! I had the privilege recently of photographing them in celebration of their silver anniversary. I wanted the portrait to reflect their love for one another and celebrate the special relationship they’ve enjoyed with each other.

Portraits are not just for babies and children (although we love to photograph them!) they are also for those special people in your life and special moments you want to remember in a special way. Don’t wait - Call today 603.335.4448

Senior Portraits - It’s Time!!!!

Posted in Uncategorized at 10:46 pm by admin

I had the privilege of photographing a High School Senior session recently. Seniors are some of my favorite subjects to photograph. They want to be photographed, and they cooperate with what you ask them to do, how cool is that? I’ve attached an image from a recent session. I know the pose is “traditional”, some folks just love traditional. If you want something more contemporary, no problem, I can photograph with a contemporary flair too, just let me know what you would like during your session. Call today to book your session, times are limited - 603.335.4448

What a priviledge continued!!

Posted in Uncategorized at 3:22 pm by admin

Just last week Joe and Lindsay brought in their new baby! They let us create some neat images of the family. The first is a traditional image of the three of them. These images make great wall decorations as well as gifts to family and friends.

The second was sooo much fun to create. And one they will cherish for a lifetime! These kinds of images will make you smile every time you see them. What a way to remember a special time in your life.

Sandy and I get to meet some really nice people in the course of our business. On top of that we get to be a part of their lives during some really important events. A wedding is one such event. Last year we had the privilege of photographing Joe and Lindsay’s wedding. It was a beautiful event. The weather man called for rain that day but the rain held back to only a slight sprinkle. The Bride and her Bride’s Maid’s were dressed so beautifully, The Groom and Groomsmen were all dressed handsomely in their tuxes, the Church was beautiful, the whole wedding was Great! The whole wedding party was so much fun to photograph. I’ve included an image from their wedding day!
